Child Safety
Version 1.0 · Valid from: [DATUM OBJAVE]
A child is on Talenat for sport. Everything else is subordinate to their safety and best interests.
| Measure | How it works |
|---|---|
| The parent manages the account | The child has no account, password or messages. All decisions are made by an adult parent or guardian. |
| Limited visibility | Children’s profiles and videos can be opened only by verified scouts. Guests in the Featured talents section see only the nickname, sport, year of birth and country — no full-size photograph, videos or contact details. Nobody sees contact details. |
| Verified scouts | A scout gets access only after verification of identity and sporting affiliation. |
| Contact only through the parent | A scout writes exclusively to the parent. Scouts’ comments wait for the parent’s approval. |
| No location | We do not collect precise location. Only the city and country are shown. |
| Video protection | Videos are up to 720p, watermarked, delivered through temporary protected links; direct download is disabled. |
| One-tap reporting | Reported content is hidden immediately until reviewed. |
| Review of new parents | A new parent’s first video may be reviewed by a moderator before publication. |
| No ads and no profiling | We do not show children ads based on profiling, we do not sell data and we do not use it to train artificial intelligence. |
| Privacy by default | All settings are at the highest level of protection until the parent changes them. There are no tricks that push you to share more data. |
| Deletion at any time | The parent deletes a video, a profile or the whole account with one click. |
If a child (aged 15 or over) themselves asks for their video or profile to be removed, we remove it and notify the parent.
We immediately report any suspicion of abuse or sexual exploitation of a child to the Posebno tužilaštvo za visokotehnološki kriminal (Special Prosecutor’s Office for High-Tech Crime) and, for users from other countries, to the competent authorities of those countries. If a child is in immediate danger, call the police: 192 (Serbia) or 112 (EU). You can also get advice and report threats to children on the internet in Serbia by calling 19833 (Nacionalni kontakt centar za bezbednost dece na internetu (National Contact Centre for Child Safety on the Internet)).
